Alright we have document explaining future changes in perks and a forum for that :

I dunno how it affect all profs so here what I see for mines :

Sold :
- All perks lost their terrible attack time, this alone make perks like guardian useful again.
- Perks with terrible damage, including alien ones, are boosted.
- Napalm spray debuff -8k ACs instead of fire only, useful.
- Evade debuffs aren't changed sadly, and still suck.

No big changes, soldiers will be the same. But with faster perks I may use them all again because most of the time the target or me was dead before I landed half of them.

Keeper :
- Aura of revival is faster at high level, making it good again.
- A new action in holy mark with a AAO buff.
- Street samurai smell better.
I dunno for keepers, perks are more rounded so I guess you can now go DD, heal, or tank.

Engie :
- Some love in the grenade line (still need a good weapon!)
- Slight Big aggro and proc love for the pet buffing perks.
- AI perk went from horrible to nice except the first action not level dependent anymore, wtf ?
Pfft... Engies need a good grenade weaps. However I might reset to the AI perk, they added pistol and MC, plus an increase in the actions. Medallion now debuffs 600 NR and AAD while checking 90% duck. Ouch, Boltgun will suffer.


We don't have group of general perks yet so no complete picture yet.

Yea it's a lot to digest, plus in the general guideline you can see they got a few things right.

Like putting mellee perks at 8m range. That'll help a lot while still being mellee.

Wow...read not only all the pdf's, but also 7 pages of forum thread... too much information!   Shocked

Saw a lot that I liked for MP and enforcer, and in general seems like some perk lines that seemed useless have gained potential  Smiley

Some of the posts predicting mass quitting due to re-balancing were pretty funny, some of the questions/answers were informative, and some still left me confused.  One thing I would seem to agree with is that there isn't anything in there that makes me want to go back to playing shade yet... oh well.

Will hafta take closer look at doc perk changes, as been considering leveling doc again... the fact that at level 130 I've been casting best heals for 15 lvls and won't get better for another 50 lvls kinda nerfed my interest, so maybe there something new to spark it again...

and yea,.. always thought that supid 30/40m for ranged is far to low.
with 2k rs it doesnt matter if your target is melee and youre ranged.

It should be, but in reality the servers can't keep up with characters positions and with each lag all mellee users are getting "Target not in range".

It's not even hard, all you have to do is to zig zag and if he lags, half their attacks won't land. Got it on my keeper, it sucks.

There is a few mechanics change planned too. Infinite nano delta will be taken care off, healing will be changed (especially CH), and runspeed will be nerfed for non fixers. That last will help with desync too because the game wasn't supposed to have all its players with 2k rs.

We'll know more in next friday. I hope for a removal of the nemesis nanos. You know, like RI.

It seems no one had a revolution there, well besides the fixers getting FA perk, pistol going crazy and enf 2HB 1HB. Only marginal perks being useful.

The biggest love for me is Napalm spray, I'm getting a -8k all ac debuff (it did only fire before). That and the faceroll being less a faceroll. Now I wanna see nanos badly, Means announced changes there and it will be the biggest change for solds (praying for BR and triple to disappear).

oh yeah, nanos.... i hope this will be the thing where they make ag shine.
cos after long reading of that table, i cannot say those new perks are so great (maybe a lot more and faster dmg for alpha but not so more overwall). still i didnt have chance to compare to what it is atm, thus ill do soon Cheesy
