Greetings !

My name is Guillaume, 25 years old. I have been playing since 2003, giving me the chance to see many changes to the game, and to the soldier profession, as expansions and patches went.

My soldier is my first character. With time I went through several setups ranging from tanking assault rifle to dual dd. Through my experiences and being in contact with other players, I have a good insight about our profession and its relation to others, both as team members and opponents.

While I'm more a PVM guy, I have experienced flagged fights in Borealis, duels, BS and a bit of Tarasque. However, as a neutral, I have less knowledge of high end tower wars besides feedbacks I collected and videos. I don't plan to make side balance an issue here. While, I'm quite concerned about neutrals, I'm mainly here to take care of soldiers.

My goal is to establish a better communication and understanding between players and the dev team, to prevent our path to take a turn to the worse. This include reviewing our current toolset, then look for ways to enrich it. Even if fights should be longer after the balancing act, we need our defining abilities adapted to a post balance situation.

As a professional, I intend to listen to concerns and make sure we can gather them in a coherent format, built with complete feedback from the community, so the dev team can have the tools needed to include us in game updates. This is critical today as the balance act will require solid communication in order to not distort our profession's role in the game.

The balance act prove how narrow our toolset can be. Without Power Up, and not even other perks to spend points in, we risk going into a situation where we discard assault rifle like it happened before LE. There is good suggestions for alternatives, but the core of our profession is still not there. Damage perk choices should be reviewed first, then in time we can enrich our toolset. This may be less difficult as it sound, we merely need to adapt our defining abilities in a post balance situation.

My goal is to establish a better communication and understanding between players and the dev team as we review our toolset, to prevent our role in the game to be distorted. I intend to listen to concerns and make sure we can gather them in a coherent format, built with complete feedback from the community, so the dev team can have the tools needed to include us properly in game updates.

We have today an occasion to take care of our 'bad' tools and create viable setups in a balanced situation. All it may require is a simple coherent voice to bring our concerns.

Awesome, atm all candidate are ok with each other so it may end us as team instead of simply 2 proffs.  

But we may use a neutral proff. The position is about proffession of course, and not side, but the channel may bring warnings to the dev before crap hit the live servers.
