By the way I saw Red Cliff (renamed 3 kingdoms, all three of them not being in the movie).
I enjoyed it even if in China it was a 2 chapters 4 hours movie and it was cut into one for western release. My lady saw the original one. The result is that most of the side plots are removed, leaving it mostly as a war movie. I think I'll go looking for the chinese version.

What bother me is the trailers we saw right before. 3 movies going into the EXTREEEEEME style everyone hates.

Dragonball Evolution nerd raged me. We french grew up watching it (not Z!), it rocks and we're all, ALL, hating it. Obvious sign is that we erased the first one and we're still wondering if that's a sequel.

Star Trek atomic edition with Duke Nukem Kirk and Serious Sam Spock, I wish I was making this up.

France voted a couple of days ago a law allowing the police to cut out your Internet connexion if they suspect that you download stuff. This will require spy programs, data listening, a budget of 90 millions euros. Also this bypass police procedures, and screw up providers. It was voted by 16 deputies, the other 500 were at home watching pron. Gotta love overpaid assholes.

Okay first how the hell will they check on this ? Will they decode encrypted info (not possible) ? What about my Ubuntu ? Can they separate legal and illegal bittorrent ? What my chinese video streamer ?

It took em 2 years to authorize DVDs outside of Windows and Mac OS, that's how lame they are. I mean what the hell, I'm student in e-business and all of this not only offend me, but cut my business, the total opposite. On top of this they want to make a white list of website, way to put a "government approved" stamp. Even China doesn't do this bullshit.

I live 2 hours away from Montrel QC it's a good city to goto for bussness or mayebe Ottawa natons capital and all (speaking french gives you a upper hand there)

as for the internet BS we have something like that sitting around in our sennate for over a year now... has not moved since it was proposed.

Basicaly make iPods illagal to own... I know silly.

invason of computers with out warrent is a basic violation of human rights I can see the UN stepping in on that one man if not Europe.

Hello, I am new to Kindred. Hello everyone. Sorry my first real post here is doom and gloomy  I am Canadian, too, like my mentor Alexander. Yes, Canada is a nice place still (as I suspect France is too, but the kind of stuff Bolt is posting about has begun to happen here too. The regular people just go about our business while our politicians take away freedoms and overall are morons. We also are influenced by our giant neighbour, the USA, which doesnt help in this aspect, as things there are going bad.

I really think that the average person like most of us just needs to stand up a bit more and stop getting run over by authorities. We can take down powerful boss mobs, we can stand up to wishy washy politicians!!

A: Ironically enough, while we should expect our elected politicians to represent us, it was the UNELECTED senate (Canada's dirtry little secret) that turned back some internet related legislation that would have made online things such as downloading various media and playing online poker highly illegal. The Senate sent it back to the elected parliament.
