Tailor/Maussi are really 2 players, Detlef (who does all the talking) and May (who is silent most of the time). I'm old, but May is not - let's leave it at that, ok? We live in the San Francisco area (California). I'm a chemist by trade but work in the legal field now and May is a radiologist.

I bet you didn't know that I tried AO for the first time in 2002? Well honestly, I didn't know either until I found the login for my first account about 3 months ago - and it still works!!! Yes, old age makes you forget things... Cheesy

I started playing AO seriously end of 2006, May started playing a little later. I joined TK early 2007 with Tailor, Agent. Alex actually recruited me. May joined a few months later with Maussi, Doctor (big surprise there).

May left the game at the end of 2007 again because she worked too much, I left in 2008 after sitting on LFT for 3 weeks trying to get a team for Alappa and then 6 weeks straight trying to get the DB quest done - the frustration was just too much! Cheesy

I came back early 2010 and been here again ever since. After some persuasion, May also decided to give AO another try - and I'm very happy about that! She will take over Maussi again (her orginal toon) and I play the little trader or my secret toon (to be revealed soon). I'm a do-it-yourself player but May likes more the social aspects of the game.

In the past, I used to have a more competitive approach to AO. But now, I know that I suck at the game, except at making credits, so I won't stress over it anymore. Tongue
Lastly, I have to give thanks to Z for all the useful game info he has given me over the years - without that, I would have quit AO again, like I did in 2002 (even if I don't remember, I'm sure that was one of the reasons).

Have fun and be happy! Smiley

LFT was that bad huh. So bad, you even started making this thread.

And stop sucking at the game, you are far due.. and if you are really that old, you do not have much time left.
Hell, you are even older than AO!!!!

And now a tip (for free), just take your own initiative. Start own teams, just ask people to join from lft.. ask in botchannels.
That is mainly how Verp and me done all stuff we did. And play toons the way you know how. Some may laugh at you, but
you might surprise some about what you can achieve.
